OUR MISSION STATEMENT
Simply put, our mission is to make the most eco-friendly watch we possibly can. We dont believe in inflated claims with lots of exclamation points at the end (no one likes to be screamed at). What we do is tell you the truth about who we are, what we do and what we can & cant do to make our product more environmentally friendly. We believe in promising less and delivering more.
WHO WE ARE
A company that has been in the business of making timepieces for over 50 years. Our strength as a company comes from our employees who collectively have invaluable knowledge, technical expertise, experience and a real passion for the traditions of watch making. But that doesnt mean we dont have a bunch of ambitious, freethinking, rebel employees with an entrepreneurial spirit who are committed to looking ahead to a greener future for our company and our planet. Asking the simple question, How can we make a greener watch? they looked for an answer. After countless hours of research and development and a lot of lunches eaten over their keyboards, two years later Sprout was born.
WHAT WE WANT TO BE
We do not claim to be the greenest company around but we are environmentally aware and we are always seeking ways to be kinder to the earth. We do little things like recycling all of our used paper, turning lights and equipment off when not in use, and choosing mass transit or car pooling to save natural resources. As a company, we are also making bigger changes, like converting to recyclable and recycled materials for packaging, reducing the size and amount of packing cartons and using more efficient transportation methods for moving our goods (like combining deliveries and choosing boat vs. air transport for our overseas shipments). We arent environmentalists, we are a watch company, and so we figure one of the best ways to be a greener company is to make a greener watch. The point is, we know everyone has a choice and we want to make sure that we make the eco-friendly choice as often as we can. Thats why we developed Sprout to give you an eco-friendly choice.
