Since 2002, 1% for the Planet has inspired members of the business community to contribute 1% of sales to environmental groups around the world. In return, this growing alliance of companies is given the opportunity not only the see their self-worth rise but their net worth climb as well.

Riverkeepers mission is to protect the environmental, recreational and commercial integrity of the Hudson River and its tributaries, and to safeguard the drinking water of nine million New York City and Hudson Valley residents.



RIVERKEEPER
Riverkeeper focuses on three overarching problems facing Hudson River communities:
Restoration of the Hudson River ecosystem, with particular emphasis on minimizing fish kills and water pollution
Protection of New York Citys drinking water supply
Improving public access to the Hudson River.



TREES FOR THE FUTURE
Trees for the Future is an agroforestry resource center, working with people to improve livelihoods and restore degraded lands to sustainable productivity through planting beneficial trees.
